Things to do at your high school before you graduate
1. Thank your teachers
If you have a teacher who have helped you or impacted your life in some way, thank them. Let them know how much you appreciate them.
2. Go to prom
It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a date. It doesn’t matter if you don’t like to dance. This is your last chance to make some great memories with everyone you spent years together. Not to mention, prom is a great photo opportunity especially when you are looking so FANCYY.
3. Go to all your school events
Even if you don’t particularly enjoy them, this year is your last year to go for it.
4. Do something you usually would not do
Sign up for your school event. Volunteer to be a leader. Audition to perform for something. Tell your crush how you feel. Initiate conversation with that one person you wanted to be friends with. Basically, try all the things you normally wouldn’t do. It’s your final year in high school so just do it!
5. Make sure to buy your yearbook/gradbook
Buy the yearbook and get signatures from your friends & teachers.
6. Take pictures and videos
Take plenty of pictures and videos of your school. Just random things like you walking to class. A picture of students crowding when school ends for the day. Maybe a snapshot of your canteen food (even if you hate it to the core!)

7. Take as many pictures with your friends
Somehow, I have the least pictures with my closest friends! You will have fewer opportunities to meet your friends especially when you are going to go to different colleges. So, make sure to take as many pictures with them.
8. Print pictures
I know the pictures are stored on your handphones but printed pictures just hit different, don’t they? And they will make a nice addition if you are making a memory box 🙂
9. Write letters for your friends, juniors, teachers etc.
The best thing you can give someone is a handwritten letter. Now that you are graduating, you will surely want to let all your friends know that you appreciate them a lot! So, write a message on a paper and have fun decorating it 🙂 Put them in cute envelopes and give it to your friends!
10. Go for an outing
You know that outing your friend group keeps planning for but always ends up not happening for whatever reason? Well, it is your senior year so don’t procrastinate anymore!
Tip: Can’t think of where to go? Theme park!
11. Go for a road trip
Do I even need to explain why you should go on a road trip?
12. Participate in a senior prank
Makes for a super fun memory to tell your kids in the future J But just make sure it is harmless!
Things you should consider doing before leaving high school
13. Apologise
Is there someone you have hurt or been unkind to? You would surely not want to regret years later for not amending things. So, go and apologise.
14. Confront
Has someone been unkind to you? Have they caused unhappiness for you at any point in time? If you think confronting will help with the sour memory, then do it. Maybe the person was not aware that they hurt you? Maybe it has been years since it happened and he/she has grown to be a better person.
15. Catch up with drifted friends
Over the years, you might have met new friends and drifted away from your close friends. Whatever the reason is for both of you to drift away, if you have ever thought of reconnecting with the person, this is the year to do it.
“Life” Things you need to do before leaving high school
16. Start learning “adult” life skills
You will have to handle quite a few responsibilities in the near future. Especially when you need to live in a dorm for college! Your family would not be there to do things like laundry, cleaning, etc. etc. So start practicing now!

19. Volunteer to do some community service

A fundraiser? Or something that you have always wanted to see in your neighbourhood.
Fun things to do senior year of high school
21. Make a list of best & worst things that happened in high school
Will be fun to read them years later!
22. Write a letter to your future self
You can set goals for yourself. You can make predictions about your life. Go crazy in your letter!

23. Make a time capsule
It is a container where you can put random items such as printed photos (point #8), newspaper, magazines, letters, a list of your favourite things etc.
Seal it.
Then, open it years later!
24. Do something special for a countdown
A few of my level mates did a countdown for the last 100 days to graduation. They posted an Instagram story each day of some random picture/video that represented a high school memory. When we graduated, they had 100 Instagram Stories and they saved them into their highlight!
Tip: Or you can be creative and do something else each day during your 100 day countdown. Maybe write a letter a day. Or take a new photo a day with your friends!
Finally,
25. Plan the holidays
You have a long break after you graduate! So, plan it 🙂
And that’s it!
This is kind of your “all the things you need to do the summer before college” checklist too. Hope this article helped you ensure you do everything you want before going to college.
